Gary Myers, LUTCF

Principal

Gary Myers, LUTCF, is the principal of Myers Financial Navigation and has been with New York Life since 2003. His role within the company is to help his clients crystalize their objectives on a business and personal basis so that he can assist them in taking the next step. What makes Gary passionate about his work is the opportunity it provides to serve as the virtual CFO to busy business owners and other professionals.

Gary carries with him an extensive expertise in the corporate world with both small and large companies. It is this experience that allows him to work with business owners and truly understand their needs and goals. Additionally, Gary’s knowledge of and passion for the industry has earned him Court of Table of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), Chairman’s Council status, and he has received the Agent of the Year Award 5 times. Working with Gary and Myers Financial means working with a hardworking, compassionate, fun, and trustworthy team of advisors.

Before entering into his career, Gary received his degree in accounting from Kansas State University in 1982. He is happily married to his wife, Donna, and together they have grown three children, Daniel, Benjamin, and Elizabeth. When he isn’t helping his clients at work, Gary loves to watch sports games, travel, and spend time with his family and friends.

The Million Dollar Roundtable (MDRT), the Premier Association of Financial Professionals, is recognized globally as the standard of excellence for life insurance sales performance in the insurance and financial services industry.

Tony Elassais

Financial Services Professional

Tony Elassais is a Financial Services Professional for New York Life and has been with the company since February of 2016. His roles include analyzing his client’s financial needs and helping them to realize their goals. Once he has developed a better understanding of his client and their situation, Tony helps them as they consider retirement planning, college funding, family protection, and more.

The best part about Tony’s career is the opportunity it provides him to make a difference in the financial world of his clients. By taking their goals, desires, and expectations into account, Tony is able to truly guide them on the best path to financial success. Tony feels a great sense of pride in the company that he works with and believes that his company, New York Life, is what sets him apart from other financial professionals. From the resources that they provide, the experience that they possess, and the commitment to their clients that they express, New York Life has taken Tony and his services to the next level.

Prior to his career with New York Life, Tony graduated from Wichita State University in 1989 with a degree in Business Administration in the area of finance. He went on to work in the manufacturing industry as an analyst and a project manager, developing both his ability to create customer solutions and to utilize data to create something bigger. In his spare time Tony has found outlets playing golf and fishing as a means of breaking away from his daily routine. Working with Tony means working with someone who is dependable, involved, and service-oriented in all aspects of life.

Jarod Rucker

Financial Adviser

Jarod Rucker is a Financial Adviser for NYLIFE Securities, LLC and has been with the company since 2013. In his career Jarod focuses on three main services, Retirement Planning, Protection, and Employer Benefits. The first of these services includes looking to the future and creating a plan, the second embodies life insurance, long-term care insurance, and disability insurance, and the last utilizes Jarod’s area of certification as an employer benefits specialist to help employers enhance their benefit packages.

Jarod loves “making the unknown known” to his clients through his work. By this, Jarod means that he loves to take things that are unknown to most, such as retirement, investments, and insurance, and turn them into something easy to understand rather than an overwhelming task. In order to make this process of understanding and working towards the unknown an easy one, Jarod works at a pace that every individual client is comfortable with. He works with the goals of his clients, not his own, by allowing them to make decisions without ever feeling rushed or pressured. This client-focused attitude of patience and understanding is only part of what has earned him the title of an Executive Council Agent, a designation awarded only to outstanding agents within the company.

Jarod received his degree in Business Administration from Wichita State University in 2010 while also minoring in Finance and Management. From 2009-2012, Jarod worked in retail management and then transitioned into property management for a local commercial developer along with being involved in a small business out of Houston. In order to spend more time with his family and participate more within his church, Jarod sought out a career closer to home that required less travel. This desire is what led him to New York Life and Jarod is so thankful that it did. He is now happily married to his wife, Sarah, and enjoys being able to spend time with her and work hard in a career he loves.

Audrea Brunke

Para Planner

Audrea Brunke serves as a Para Planner for Myers Financial Navigation and has been with New York life since 2006. Also in 2006, Audrea graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in financial planning, preparing her for her career today. Within the company, Audrea prepares financial projections, reviews portfolios, analyzes the current finances of her clients, and performs many other tasks. She enjoys being able to use her natural-born abilities as a planner to assist her clients. Audrea also finds that by considering all assets, investments, and notes she is able to put together a beautiful portrait for her clients, bringing her great satisfaction.

What sets Audrea apart from the rest is her ability to view each individual’s unique situation with compassion and work with him or her to meet her needs. Audrea has humble roots and uses her background in small business to assist her clients no matter what life throws their way. Within the company and in all other aspects of life, Audrea embodies perfectly the values of integrity, honesty, trustworthiness, and efficiency that Myers Financial is known for.

Prior to working with New York Life, Audrea worked for a bank in Manhattan and interned with an insurance company. She is now happily married to her husband John and together they have 6 kids, Madey, Isaac, Gabe, Rebekah, Aly, and Ben. Outside of work, Audrea keeps busy by landscaping and gardening, educating her kids, going on family adventures and creating memories, and watching Kansas State football games.

Alyssa Prose

Client Relations Specialist

Alyssa Prose became the Client Relations Specialist for Myers Financial Navigation in 2017. Alyssa helps the operations within the office run smoothly by assisting clients with changes to their policies, scheduling appointments, coordinating of calendars and managing claims.

Alyssa is passionate about providing the best possible experience to clients and enjoys assisting them with any questions or needs they may have. She finds her job rewarding when she gets to assist in problem solving and research solutions for clients.

When not at the office, Alyssa volunteers with her youth group in Maize, Kansas. She also enjoys yoga, spending time with family, watching movies, and trying out local eateries.
